HP 1270d H02 a crossflash to iHas624b problem

Hi All,

Was wondering if someone could help me with my cross flash problem.

I have a HP 1270i drive (shows as 1270d in wondows) its a revision A drive and a manufacturing date of 2009.

I have read this confirmed as working rebadge of the Liteon iHas drives.

Now my problem is i cant get to to flash with the iHas624b firmware from the files on the homepage. The iHas624A firmware will flash but not the B version. It reads the firmware and fails before writing.

Anyone have any suggestions on what to do.

Hi and Welcome!

A and B revisions have different hardware. So you can not crossflash a “A” drive to a “B” firmware.
