that is correct what you say, but my problem is, i'll try to explain
Computer boot's up, the only thing he has to load is: my cdrom driver to have cd access, from the autoexec i'll let automaticly load my menu-files and smartdrv, etc. (so far it all fits on one floppy) and that's it for the boot progress.
BUT: from the menu, i can choose witch program i wanna launch, let's say there are 2 program's 1: Ghost, 2: Partition Magic, and let's say, that the total size is 1000Mb, (and 1Gb doesn't fit on a floppy or a virtual drive). That's problem 1 (and with no-emulation it is possible)
BUT (nr2): it also has to work on more than one computer, and not every computer has the same configurations, some computers has Drive HDD C:, D:, E:, and as cd-drive F:, and some other has HDD C:, and CD = D:. but it has to work on ONE system i could batchfiles, to switch from A:\ to D:\, and then it works (only on such computer), but when the configuration changes, and the CD-drive becomes E:\, and the batchfile points to D:\, it's doesn't work anymore, so, no-emulation is also the solution, cause with no-emulation, you have a drive of 700mb (size of the CD), and the drive stays the same, i don't have to point to a specific driveletter, and than it works on every computer.
I know, it's probably unclear written, and hard to understant, but it's kinda difficult to explain
