How to write a medium label using Nero COM

Hi,

I’m testing the neroFiddlesCom example.
Does anybody know, how can I extend the example to write a medium label other than “NEW”?

Thank’s

Alex

There is a Name property in NeroISOTrack object. Use that to assign the volume label you want.

To Alexp

thanks for your reply, but this is not working on my pc.
The neroFiddlersCom already assigns a name by:
isotrack.Name = “TestTrack”
but the medium label is always “NEW”.
What can be wrong?

By the way how can I check that the track size is smaller than the free media size with neroCom?

Thanks

I have just tried it and it works fine. What is your current Nero/NeroCOM version?

There is an EstimateTrackSize method on NeroDrive which can help you in your calculations.

To Alexp,

my NeroCom is Version 1.05.

Thank’s Alex

No, that is NeroSDK version. What is your Nero Burning ROM version?

To alexp,

Sorry my Nero Burning Rom is Version 6.0

Thank’s Alexg

My only suggestion is to try and upgrade to a newer Nero version and see if it fixes the problem. As I have already said, I could not reproduce the problem with the latest version.
