How to trim an audio file with magix audio cleaning lab mx

just got magix but i seem to be having problems trimming the start and ending of a song…does anyone here use magix for this reason?

What format are your files in? The reason I ask is if they are compressed files (WMA, MP3, etc.) then you probably can’t trim them exactly. The reason is most compressed files are based on ‘frames’ or groups of samples and have to end as a full frame. If the frame isn’t full then it’s padded with silence that can’t be removed.

they r wave files…thanks

Then trimming shouldn’t be a problem. I’m not familiar with magix audio cleaning lab mx so I’m sorry I can’t be more help.
