I have DVD-ROM lite-on and DVD-RW pioneer 212bk. when i try to check disc quality with DVD-RW why can click start??but when i use DVD-ROM it can start i sue nero 7.5
I believe quality scanning was disabled in CD-DVD Speed, at Pioneer’s request, for the x12 drives.
Which would be why it works fine with your Litey DVD-ROM, but not with your Pio.
You could use an earlier version or even better: DVDInfoPro!

If you want to use only freeware, then as mentioned, return to an earlier CD-DVD Speed version, it’s your only option that I can see.
Of course, if you’re serious about scanning, then you could purchase a LiteOn DVD burner and enjoy the latest version of CD-DVD Speed, KProbe, and have more reliable scanning. As much as home scanning will allow, anyway.
