How to make iso files

hi i have some audio files
i want to turn these files into a iso file
how do i do that|??
and do i have to burn a cd first to make a iso??
or how does it works

people say use clonecd but i don’t know how to us it

I think the easiest way to do this , is to use a writer program that can write to a virtual writer (and thus making an image file).

You could use Nero for this.

I ONLY CAN MAKE A .NRG HOW CAN I MAKE A .ISO??

No need to shout (all caps).

What version of Nero are you using? I can’t remember exactly when it went in, but Nero can make ISO files at least as of 5.5.10.42. Select the image drive as the destination recorder, create your compilation, select “File”->“Write CD…”, press the “Write” button, and in the resulting “Save Image File” dialog box, pick “ISO Image Files (.iso)” in the “Save as type:” drop-down box. Then press “Save” and you are done.

You can either a) convert your already exsisting .nrg file to ISO format

or

b) “Build Files/Folders to One ISO File” using demo of UltraISO 6.5

While in UltraIso, goto : Help > Contents :

a) Convert CD Image to Standart ISO

b) Create New ISO File
Just follow the procedure described there and you’ll finally get something like this :

A piece of cake ! :stuck_out_tongue:
