Hello, I am using Nero Vision 4 Essentials, version 18.104.22.168. I am trying to burn 2 movies onto one dvd. Both are .avi files, one of 702 MB and the other of 800 MB.
I'm guessing the file size might increase when it gets converted to dvd format, but shouldn't I be able to fit it into a 4.7 GB disc?! When I add the two videos, nero gives a "Problems may occur when burning the project" warning message. In the 'video options' > 'Quality Setting' drop-down menu, I selected the "Automatic (fit to disc)" option. Shouldn't that mean that nero should adjust the quality so that the files fit onto the DVD??! (don't answer tht, it doesn't!!)
Please tell me what bitrate and resolution I should select (using custom quality settings) so that my files fit without much loss in quality. Right now, the files only exceed by 0.26 GB.
(It says "total space used: 4.64 out of 4.38 GB (Quality: Low :()")
Actually, my disc is of 4.7GB, not 4.38 GB. So, does this mean that if I burn it ignoring the warning message, all will be well? Someone please reply. I'm going crazy!!
