How to create dts 5.1 audio cd

how to create dts 5.1 audio cd
please tell me:eek:

Hi muraliomega.

It is not possible to put DTS 5.1 on an audio CD. Audio CD uses 2 channel stereo.

RM

How about to DVD ?

DTS audio CDs are a proprietary format designed by DTS that cannot be created at home. They can be copied however. It consists of a split 5.1 stream that gets decoded by the DTS decoder in your receiver or player.

DTS is also proprietary for DVDs, and requires pro-level licensing and software.

Isn’t DTS “surround sound” ?
I was hoping to mix my songs where 4 separate guitars tracks to appear in LF, RF, LR, RR,
drums mixed into them too … think Foureo as opposed to Stereo
backing vocals in rear
lead vocals in center
Maybe turn out too psychadelic

Just a hobby musician / guitar fun that wants to play around with outputing to surround sound, rather than stereo
If you need expensive software, then it was worth asking. Otherwise, no big deal

There are a number of programs around that can create DD 5.1 or 5.1 PCM.

:cool::cool:

I came across THIS for software. The CD-DTS program is limited, but looks reasonable.

I think I would be looking at their DVD-Audio authoring software before I spent money on the DTS-CD. Same requirements but with higher-quality output.
