this is what I have:

pIII 1000@1242
512ram
3d prophet geforce² gts 64ram with tv-out
10/100 network card
SB live
dxr³ mpg card
pinnacle pctv pro card
adaptec 2930 scsi card

2x plextor 12/10/32s
1x ultraplex 40
Aopen 10/40 dvd
Acer 12/8/32
60gig &80gig harddisk

this how it’s connected now: ide1-> 2 harddisks
ide2-> Aopen dvd (master), Acer 12/8/32 (slave)

the rest is on scsi.
I’m abble to burn 3 different images with clonecd or 1 cd with 3 burners at the same time.
is this the best connection?
or should I put on ide1-> harddisk + dvd
ide2->harddisk + Acer cdrw

I haven’t tryed burning 2 different cd’s on the fly at the same time.

also wich one should I use to read safedisk²?

sorry - what was the question? are you having hardware problems and you want to know if that’s the optimum setup for your hardware…???

as for SD2 there is a list of the SD2 compatible recorders on this thread:

I just want to know if I’m using the right setup and wich device I have would be best to read safedisk² and at what speed should I read it.

thanx

Use your Acer device for reading and writing SD2 protected games, it should work 100% but I think it’s error skipping is not very fast!
With my Acer 4432 it takes almost 1 hour to extract…maybe yours is faster.

I thought an Acer could only write safedisk² and not read it??

I’d put my writer on master if I were you…
