Hello everybody.

when I’m burning without using NERO_BURN_FLAG_CLOSE_SESSION flag, cd or dvd become close and i cant burn into them nothing more. can i close cd or dvd without burning any file?

#2

You probably could do it by burning an empty ISO track. What is the purpose anyway?

hi alexp

I want to burn folders into CD/DVD by multisession. That why I don’t want to close the media until I’ll try to burn and I’ll see that the media is full.

Do i have a possibility to figured out how much free space / trucks I’ll have on media after burning file/folder (i know file’s/folder’s size in bytes) ?

After burning one session, you can always ask for a disc info and see how much free space is left. If you want to know the size of a track prior to burning, you should use EstimateTrackSize().

#5

hi alexp

what do you mean “size of a track prior to burning” ?

and how can i know for every filr i want to burn how many tracks it will take on cd/dvd?

#6

sorry - not "how many tracks it will take " but “how many blocks it will take”

#7

You can’t know how many blocks each file will take. You can only get the info about the total track size.

Thank you alexp
