I tried ripping this movie with DVDShrink and AnyDVD. The files crashed PowerDVD immediately, but would play on VLC.
So I tried ripping with the built-in ripper in AnyDVD. Shrink could open them and remove extras, but the result also crashed PowerDVD. Running the video through FixVTs before using Shrink resulted in a video that could not be opened by DVDShrink.
I suspect CloneDVD2 might have similar problems.
My solution was to extract the video from the AnyDVD ripped files by using Vob2Mpeg, then rebuilding into a new dvd using DVDLab Pro. The results play on the computer using PowerDVD or VLC and it plays without issues on my home player.
DVDLab is lots of work.
I did AnyDVD, DVDRemake, DVDRebuilder 97%, burn-Nero (I know not too many like it). Use ImgBurn for DVD/DL.
