Hi I just bought a Lot of used dvds " region 1"about 30 for resale…is there a program or a way that would tell you if the dvds are in working condition meaning no skips or distortions without having to play and view all of the entire movie…if so it would be a HUGE time saver…thank you…
just use the “benchmark” test of Nero CD/DVD speed, preferably with your pickiest drive. The read curve must be smooth with no slowdowns for a perfectly readable disc.
To add, CD/DVD speed may not be able to read commercial DVDs because of CSS. A workaround is to open the DVD in a player like PowerDVD, leave it open but not playing then use CD/DVD speed.
@mciahel;Should the “all” tests in benchmark be ran or just one or more selected tests ?
I’ve mostly just used the disc quality test which takes a while.
@olyteddy: Good hint to know I will try to remember it.
