How to check cas latency?

Sorry for this embarrassingly simple question, but I just upgrade my ram and ran memtest. Everything is fine, but I can’t seem to find where to check to see if it is performing to it’s rated cas latency. Where would I find this info?

Isn’t it on the tag which is on the RAM stick itself?

from windows you can run CPUZ and look under the memory tab to see current timings and speed, or you can check the settings in bios. I could be wrong, but I thought memtest displayed timings too, but then again it might have just been speed, its been a while since I last ran it

Take your pick :

http://www.cpuid.com/pcwizard.php (my fave)
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html (Everest)
http://www.sisoftware.co.uk/index.html?dir=dload&location=sware_dl_3264 (Sandra Lite)

CPUZ will show you the current memory timings along with the timings that are programed into the memory chips for different speeds so you can see how things are setup on your computer.

Thanks again to all. Everything checked out fine.
