How to burn more than one cd?

I need help guys, I’m trying to record my DVDs which I’ve recorded using my DVD camcorder. I have about 20dvds to record, what software will allow me to record several for burning on a blank 4gb dvd? I’ve tried ConvertXToDVD but it had an error with the audio files. The dvds are only 30min each, that’s why i would like to rip several and burn them on one dvd. If anybody can help me it’d be great, thanks!

Try DVD Flick. Do they need to be joined?

Not joined but they have to be playable in a dvd player.

Nero 8 & DiscJuggler are those i have tried for burning multiple discs at onetime. Both are very easy to use and good for many jobs. These days i use Nero

(I think i misunderstood the question. What was it?)

Nero has options for this

but if you really wanna get artsy I´d do it with something like Adobe Premiere Elements ($50)…an excellent range of editing tools are included and at the end you export it to a DVD. It´s work, but it works :iagree:

Ripping several home-made dvds on a single blank dvd. It seems DVDFlick only reads video files. The dvds have all been finalized and i don’t think DVDFlick can help.

Are they already on your HDD, what format?

That’s another problem, i can’t get them on my HD. I tried using A-One dvd copy, it copy but the file is empty.

Try Imgburn in “read” mode…what is the file type?

I’m not actually sure, but i guess VOB? The video file are already on a dvd.

As long as they come from an unprotected source Imgburn should be able to rip the Vobs from your disc to your HDD. From there import each one into DVD Shrink and output to ISO and then burn with Imgburn.

Thanks, Locoeng, i will give that a try.

I gotta small problem with Imgburn, i don’t if it’s normal or what. I’m using the “read” mode, everytime I’ve tried it seems to just stop at 99%.

No errors, it just freezed at that point? Post the log from Imgburn please.

I don’t know, if it freezes or what, but it literally took too long at 99%.

The drive is unable to read your discs, the file type should be fine, but the brand may be the problem. What brand are you using with the camcorder?

lol, I had a feeling it was the brand. It is Maxell, i have always had problems burning with Maxell & Memorex. The only brand that seems to work fine with my HP is Sony & HP. Maybe if i copy the Maxell to my HP dvd-rw blank, think that will work?

Maxells can be good if made in Japan, but I don’t make it a practice to recommend Memorex at all. Verbatims and Taiyo Yuden always get my vote. You could try the other drive to see if you have any luck, some drives are better readers than others, but you aren’t getting any errors (CRC etc.) that would indicate a definate flaw with the discs.
