Inspired by the following thread in the Plextor forum:
How Many Plextors Do You Own?
I thought I would start one for Nexperia BenQ lovers, because we treasure our Nexperia BenQs as much or more than Sanyo Plextor owners love theirs (and of course, some of you are both).
Note that, for those unaware, the only real Plextor drives use a Sanyo chipset, and the only real BenQ drives use a Nexperia chipset. All other drives that bear the respective names “BenQ” or “Plextor” should not be considered members of the set (Note that, there is one cross-over drive, which ties the two families together. The Plextor PX-740A is really a rebadged BenQ DW1640).
Now, on to the question at hand. How many Nexperia BenQ drives do you own?
With my latest purchase, I now own 12 Nexperia BenQs, 9 of which are DW1640s, and 3 that are DW1650s. I do not own a DW1620, DW1625, or DW1655.
