I was wondering how many DVD reading speeds does the 811s drive supports… Please check it with Nero DriveSpeed with a DVD inserted.

No matter what kind of disc you put in the drive, the drop down lets you choose 6X or Maximum. When a single layer disc is in, the Current speed is 11x, when a dual layer disc is in, the current speed is 10x, and when a Recordable DVD is in the drive, the current speed is 6x.

To create working images of DVD titles protected by SecuROM, the read speed can’t be so high. Maybe LiteON could help us, adding lower reads speeds
