Mount rainier IS a great thing. however, it's not for standard users.
Packet writing software has the tendency to cause the system to be unstable...
But once they integrate Mount Rainier into the OS, then I suspect it will be very common.
Although in 1 more year, the whole mount rainier for CDRW drives will be moot.
Everyone will have DVDR drives at that point in time.
In oz, we can already pick up older generation drives for around $350 ( approx US$180)
0.65GB just isn't that much storage anymore
I know i currently have about 12 GB's of unbacked up downloaded files, sitting over 3 HD's less than 1 year old.
I suspect it will stay that way til I get a DVDR drive.
approx end of year when liteon release their wonder beast
