With all these claims of CD-R discs lasting 100 + years, it's still ultimately up to the disc to perform on it's own merits.
So how long have your TY discs lasted you before going "bad"? I've heard people claiming their TY discs still function 10+ years later. I have a few that are at least 8 years old and play just fine (and on top of that, they have paper labels on them too! ha! )
