How do you rip DVD-RAM

I want to be able to rip DVD-RAM and encode it into preferably mpeg2 format (though other formats are good too).
How would you be able to do this?
Thanks.

Well, for DVD-RAM content recorded from my Panasonic DVR, I use Womble MPEG Video Wizard. It can read the files and then save them in an array of formats. It’s a great program and has lots of editing capabilities (and it’s relatively cheap too).

Welcome to CDF’s,

 If you cannot drag and drop the file(s) to your HDD then not sure what the problem is…

What OS are you using?

Well, there is a folder DVD_RTAV and files VR_MANGR.IFO and VR_MOVIE.VRO

…in there.

What are those things?

Ha, I renamed the VR_MOVIE.VRO to VR_MOVIE.mpg and it played.

I guess that’s a “hidden super secret mpeg 2 file” and the other one must be some type of menu file I would guess.
