How do you reboot your computer WHILE in DOS mode?

I am soooooo stupid, I have hardly any expeireince in DOS.

How do you reboot your computer WHILE in DOS mode…

Also, I pressed the Reset button on my computer… Is that ok (I have been flashing my dvd writer by the way)

Thanks

How exactly did you get to DOS mode? If you booted straight into DOS, then pressing Ctrl-Alt-Delete will re-boot just fine. If you went to DOS from inside Windows, then you should type ‘exit’, and hit enter. This should close the DOS box. Now just reboot your computer like normal.

I was in DOS mode after booting off a floppy…

So do i do Control-Alt-Del?

Was it ok 4 me 2 press the reset button…

Yes, it is fine to press the reset button.

Does the command EXIT work?

No it does not, as he booted from floppy (in a pure dos environment)
