How do you determine what kind of sheep burner you have?

I have a NEC 1100A DVD burner and a Lite On LTN4865 cdrom…I’ve been searching around the forums and I keep seeing “sheep”, not sure what it is. Can someone shed a little light?

Gosh, that site is a bit out of date.
Sheep was a saying that the makers of CloneCD invented and if your burner had 2 sheep then it was capible of writing(I think it was) EFM(Eight to Fourteen Modulation), in other words able to write a SafeDisc 2 protected game. But that only applies to BURNERS, not any readers.
