How do I use Apple/Mac .dmg files in Windows?

I’m stuck with two 13-gigabyte sparse image .dmg files of NTFS partitions. They can be opened fine on Mac OS, but I personally don’t have a Mac available, and have to somehow get along with these on Windows.

Only thing I want to do is open it and extract files, maybe write the contents of the DMG to a hard drive, or even better, mount it as a hard drive in VMware.

The usual DMG-to-ISO applications, TransMac, and even IsoBuster, will not even start to work because the combination of .dmg file and NTFS partition seems to be too exotic.

I’m not even trying to burn it (no Blu-ray here), so this is not an option.

Thanks in advance
