Can anyone give me any help and advice please on how I can play and convert a file I've downloaded that's called a video_TS file. When I double click on it, it brings up lots of other video_ts files that are called nero showtime files?
I've got nero on my computer but I can't seem to play them or convert them so that they are only one file.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You don't have to convert anything if your VIDEO_TS folder contains all the proper VOBs, IFOs, and BUPs...Burn it with Ner0...
Silly question I know but how do I do that? Do I try to burn the folder that's called video_ts which has all the other files in? Sorry if this is a silly question.
In Nero Burning Rom, if I remember correctly, you need to select DVD-Video from the available choices.
I don't use Nero anymore, so I can't double check this, but yes, you do use the Video_TS folder as input.
If you wish to play the VIDEO_TS file on your computer, download VLC Media Player. When installed, just right click the VIDEO_TS Folder & open or play with VLC. If you wish to burn the VIDEO_TS folder to a blank Dvd, you could use this option.

I don't know what I've done but for some reason it won't do it - but thanks very much for taking the time to reply.
Thanks very much beef barley I've followed the link that you put and it's done it. The only trouble is I don't think that they original download was very good as the quality is quite bad - not watchable at all.
But many thanks again for helping and I'll certainly know what to do in future.
You are welcome. You can always check the original before burning with VLC Media Player, if it's good, then the next step would be to post a burn log here.
Will do - I didn't know I could try and play it before I burned it as that would've saved me alot of trouble!!! I'm going to see if I can download VLC as you suggested.
Many thanks again.
Glad to help, any questions just post back.
