How do I get audio to stop skipping on a converted avi to dvd

Help Im having trouble with some avi video files that I convert to dvd. I use tha latest version of vso convertx to dvd. Most of my avi video files come out fine, but i few come out with audio skips. Is this because of the audio from the avi file. Dose anyone know how to fix it?

How does the avi file play before you convert it?

It plays good no skipping, I noticed it only happens with few avi files that i have. I think it could be the audio codec in the avi video stream

You can use Gspot, http://www.headbands.com/gspot/, to see the information about the avi

or

Mediainfo, http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en.

the info is good , but how do i fix it, so the conversion to dvd doesnt have a audio skip, thanks

I don’t have a clue. Since your source avi is good and I know nothing about ConvertX there isn’t much I can offer.

You need to know which codecs are used in order to find a solution.

How can anybody help you if you don’t know what you’re working with?

Simply by using a reliable source.
Better say not where those “avi” come from…
