How do I determine which .WMA files in my media library are Protected and which are not?

Over the years I’ve ripped THOUSANDS of songs… At first I had set them to “Protected” but later found that was nothing but a pain.

So now I have a mix of thousands and thousands of songs, some protected, most not, that I want to remove the .WMA protection from and convert.

Most programs will convert specific files you tell it to, are there any that will scan the files to tell me which ones are protected?

try Tunebite

yeah, tunebite has a function for that.there’s a button in the main window especially for finding this sort of files and adding them to the input list.

#4

What exactly does this app do?only finds the protected files or it can be used for converting them too?

#5

^ Its main purpose is to convert them.

#6

So if I have some files I would like to use on my phone this would also work?

#7

Yeah,it should work for that.
