How Do I Burn A DVD So I Can Play It On My TV's DVD Player?

I have NERO but I can’t find much information in NERO’s help or on the Ahead web site.

What format must the file be in for Nero to be able to use it for burning a DVD movie that will play on my TV’s DVD player? AVI? MPEG? I am making movies using my Sony digital camera and it makes short clips in mpg format. I can stitch them together and save the compilation in an AVI format.

What settings in Nero for creating the movie DVD?

Thanks for the help. I wouldn’t ask if Nero had better documentation but it doesn’t.

Thanks for the info but that is way too complicated. I’m looking for a package that will do it all. How about Pinnacle?

Also have a read here, it can help you convert your AVI to DVDR in a few simple steps. http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=61142

Unfortunately, there is no “miracle” software at the moment that does AVI to DVDR directly.

Don’t use rempeg2 but use TMPGEnc… TMPGEnc produce a best quality movie!

to make dvd=>dvd-r look the tutorials that are here

go to
