How do I bitset?

How do I set the booktype to DVD-Rom? I thought the 1620 did this automatically but I just burnt my first +R disc and its showing as DVD +R. Is there some setting in DVD Decrypter I need to change?

If you didn’t get a disc with the Booktype Management software on it…

you can goto support.benq.com and download it. You can also get Qscan while you’re there as well.

And CD-Speed has a bitsetting option as well.

Where does it show it is +R? For example, the CDSpeed by default shows the media type, not the book type. So even if you see DVD+R there, it doesn’t mean its booktype is DVD+R.

What is the difference in Nero CD-DVD Speed and Nero DVD Speed?

OK. I ran booktype management and it said it was already set for DVD-Rom. I guess I didn’t read all through that info on DVD Decrypter and was thrown off by the part in bold below:

I didn’t see the Book Type listed again.

Going a little off topic here I was stunned by the scan of the first one I burnt. Wow…I’m impressed with +R.

Glad you got it figured out.

In CD Speed under options on the User Interface tab is a Book or Disk type under DVDinfo(DVD) if you would like to confirm it really is set to -ROM.

Nero DVD Speed allows you to change the read speed of various DVD readers/writers.
