How can I use Nero CD-DVD Speed set read/write speed and check whether that speed has been set succesfully?

Hi,

I wonder if there is a way for me to use Nero CD-DVD Speed set read/write speed and check whether that speed has been set succesfully ?

I want to make sure the speed issue if not my program problem but driver or windows api problem.

Useless for write speed, which is LIMITED by the inserted media.
