How can I copy Civilizations 4?

How can I copy Civilizations 4? I tried almoust everithing, and it dosent work. Does somebody know how can I copy the CD’s (for backup only)

Civ 4 is protected with safedisc 4.60 and the ability to copy it successfully is very much dependent upon the capabilities of your hardware. What burner/s and other ordinary cd/dvd rom/s, if any, do you have?

well, I have a Sony DVD RW (Sony DVD RW DW-D18A), a DVD ROM (HL-DT-ST DVD ROM GDR8162B). But I just need a software or something to copy with. I tried Alcohol 120%, Nero7, Virtual CD and Dameon Tools. Do I need a special program or something? :doh:

Try using your Sony writer to read and write with alcohol. First try with safedisc datatype settings and if that doesn’t work try the various safedisc 2/3 settings. Burn to cdrws rather than cdrs unless you get one to work.

Install and run the back-up copy from your ordinary dvd rom as then there will be no need for any atip hiding utility.
