I am new to DVD land, so I need some help to get me in the right direction.
I have a movie on DVD (Babe) that is English spoken. I also got a VHS video of the same movie with a Dutch spoken soundtrack but color damage in the movie itself..
What I want is to produce a DVD with the image of the DVD version and the soundtrack from the VHS version.
I got as far as that I can use AudioGrabber to extract the Dutch soundtrack from the VHS tape.
Then I tried to find some tools to extract the movie from DVD and combine it with the new soundtrack. I found Fx ReSound (free version) and Cucusoft video converter (trail version). With the last I can make a copy of the DVD movie to disk (the first 5 minutes in the trial version) and with Fx ReSound I am suppost to be able to combine video and audio to a new movie.
However this does not seem to work.
As I am a newbee I do not know if I am on the right track and to be fair I will only proceed with this quest if I can do it with freeware or really low cost shareware, otherwise I might as well buy the dutch spoken DVD instead (if still available).
Can somebody help me to get the right tools for the job?
