It looks like new didn’t notice any problems with it apart from the touchpad becoming hot within 20-30 minutes of using the computer. the rest of the panel has got normal temperature. Is that normal? Does anyone know? I had Toshiba laptop before, bought it in 2003, stopped usinig it a year ago because it used to overheat and switch off. I want this one to last longer than that.
Usually the keyboard is also used as a heat dissipator next to the air outtake. If the laptop is old perhaps the heat can’t go away as fast as it normal should and therefore heats up your touchpad. Check the air outtake of the cpu and clean it.
