Hoodwinked problem

Hi all,

I tried to copy fairy tale Hoodwinked but after inserting od disk into DVD unit, AnyDVD ( crashed. Have you ever had this problem too? Do you know the solution. Thanks for reply

What is the info as it crashes? What is actually said? When and where does this take place on the DVD?

Both of you folks must believe that Forum Members are endowed with great mind reading skills because both of you failed to provide absolutely no meaningful information.

Suggest that you closely review the AnyDVD Forum sticky tilled “New posters with ripping/burning problems” (http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=182650) and provide all the information that is requested in that posting.

Until you take the time to provide the requested information you are wasting your time and fellow Forum Members time.

Before posting for the first time, please do some of us a favour:

  1. Ensure you’re using the lastest version of Anydvd:
    visit http://www.slysoft.com/download.html

  2. State a)the specific version of Anydvd you’re using, b)the specific version(s) of the burning application(s) you are using (and stating “latest versions” isn’t sufficient information; use full version numbers), and c)the specific version(s) of whatever other burning application(s) you have installed on your system.

  3. Specify the a)full title, b)region code, c) country, and d) release date of the disc that you’re experiencing issues with.

  4. Specify a)the brand and b)model number of your optical reader and writer with c)firmware versions for these optical drives. d) Let us know what operating system (version number and service pack, if applicable) you’re using as well.

  5. What blank media are you using? Specify a) brand name b)type (-R, +R, -RW, +RW, RAM, DL, etc.) c)media code, d) capacity/size, e) batch codes/serial codes (often found printed on the inner plastic hub of the blank disc), and f)country (factory information would be great as well, if possible) where the media was made (look on the physical packaging; do not rely on programs to accurately give you this information).

If you don’t know how to obtain media codes, you may find the following programs useful:

  1. At what speed are you burning your blank media?

  2. Click the red fox icon in your system tray. Select “status” on the left hand side of your screen. With the problematic disc inserted in your computer, click the appropriate drive tab letter (the drive containing the disc) in Anydvd. In the window below the drive letter, copy and paste the information Anydvd gives you in your post asking for help.

  3. State the full a)error message(s) you encountered, b)tell us what program(s) you were using when you received the error message(s), and c) describe in detail what you were doing when you received the error message(s).

  4. Before posting, please use the “search” function on these boards. Many answers are available already.

May be the two they are just trying to have little fun who knows. I hope that is not the case otherwise, they have been disrespectful to the forum and its members that they are makeing every effort to help them.

I have just tried new any DVD.
It doesnt work with Hoodwinked. It always crash

Anydvd DOES work with Hoodwinked. Hoodwinked is an older movie now and there are no problems using anydvd to back it up with clonedvd or nero recode.

You must have some other issues but you still have not posted any relevent information as asked. Please provide some further info as the above posting by Dr Who (and others) have requested and maybe someone can help you sort it out.

Maybe it works with english version. But I have Czech version of Hoodwinked (Karcoolka) I tried to copy with anyDVD on 3 computers…without result. it always crashes and ask me if i want send error report to the microsoft…

I don’t usually offer this advice in the AnyDVD forum but I’ll make an exception for this one. Try RipIt4Me. If you search the forum you’ll find lots of info about it. It just may help in this particular case…

I’m the same as you I don’t care to mention it in the forum but the region 2 & 4 I usually suggest it as well as sending the IFO’s to slysoft.

It’s not just the region 2 issue in this case as to why I suggested it. Just look through the thread carefully and you’ll probably figure out why I went with the “just get it done” approach to this particular issue. Otherwise I suspect this particular thread will drag on and on with no real resolution…
