:o SOMEBODY SAVE ME PLEASE.

I just bought a DVDRW-LG-RE001 but it shows HL-DT-ST GSA-4165B in hardware and I cannot choose the recorder from the Nero Express like I did to my old CD writer. My question is :

  1. Is this device a DVD burner?
  2. How to make it work?

It is a DVD burner - and possibly you need to update Nero for it to detect the drive. Did that version of Nero come bundled with another drive?

Your Nero version is too old (prior v6) and / or it came bundled with another burner.

Try using cd burner xp which is free.
