I purchased a Hitachi DZ-HS300A not long ago and am having problems getting my video to play on my DVD player. I am able to dub the video scenes over and finialize the disk but when its put into my DVD player all I get is a blank screen. I have mini DVD-RW in VR mode w/ 16:9 video according to the manual it shouldnt have any problems. Not to add a sob story but I have video of my daughters first days at home I would like to take to the desert with me when I leave. Any help on getting this video to play would be great. Im pretty noobish when it comes to this stuff so bare with me please. Thanks
I had similar problems with disks recorded in a Hitachi DZ-BA37E camera. These were of a school play with the grandkids on - a vital piece of archive footage. I used ISOBUSTER which rebuilt the video files from the data which was then copied onto another DVD. You can download a trial version of Isobuster to see if it will work then pay for it to finish the job.
Best of luck.
