Surely the war is next to over anyway? If there’s no efficient way of producing dual layer DVD-R in the same timescales as DL DVD+R…the DVD-R will die… Just as a foot note, Toshiba (DVD-R ‘fans’) spread lies with a number of their current DVD players stating that they only play DVD-R. This is completely untrue since a friend has been playing un-Bit Set DVD+R discs since she’s had a £90 model bought in the UK. So if propganda is all the DVD-R camp have…then let the format die I say. :d
