Hiding software from the systray

Some software is always visible by an icon in the systray (that thing next to the clock in the bottom right of a Windows screen). Now I’m running such software and need to hide it. Is there any way I could do this?

OS: Windows 2k with SP3
App: UD project

im not sure,XP can hide them, so maybe 2k can, try properties on the start menu, it’s somewhere in that panel on XP

Wedge has got the right advice.

See Hide System Tray Icons.

i believe this is for XP only.

atleast its not the same options for my win 2k sp2 machine.

Huzzy is right, it isn’t…

This is what Microsoft has to say about it in HOW TO: Remove Items From the System Tray in Windows 2000.
