There are known problems using r/w cd’s with the Benq. The only way I have found to get round this problem is to erase the cd on a different drive (non Benq) and it usually cures the problem. It can be a quick erase or a full. I have personally found that the Benq 1620 operates best with Traxdata music r/w cd’s for some reason and I have burned and erased these disks hundreds of times without problems.
