Are you viewing the drive status after inserting the original retail DVD or is this the DVD copy you created? If it is the former then AnyDVD is functioning normally. It is showing you the status of the original disc. As you make a backup the CSS protection will be removed. If it’s the latter then there is a problem.

have u been successful with all movie u have backed up? do u jsut put the movie in and then click the program?

im not talkin about miami vice im talkin about a dvd i jsut bought and i want a copy for my dad

There are guides here to help with that sort of thing. Search for guides. I’ve read plenty of them.
