Video DVD (or CD) label: MIAMI_VICE
Media is CSS protected!

this tells you the original is CSS protected

Is this the same person with the rented Miami Vice?

so can u not back up an original?

Are you viewing the drive status after inserting the original retail DVD or is this the DVD copy you created? If it is the former then AnyDVD is functioning normally. It is showing you the status of the original disc. As you make a backup the CSS protection will be removed. If it’s the latter then there is a problem.

have u been successful with all movie u have backed up? do u jsut put the movie in and then click the program?

its the original and by back up u mean via clonedvd or do i have to click something?

im not talkin about miami vice im talkin about a dvd i jsut bought and i want a copy for my dad

If this is the case we should not offer anymore support here. I have to be certain though. I will read through all the threads.:cop:

There are guides here to help with that sort of thing. Search for guides. I’ve read plenty of them.
