Your computer specs are more than enough (I have copied many movies with an athlon xp2500@3200 with 1 gig of ram at times, 512mb of ram at other times). You only need about 10 gig or less of free working space. I'm assuming that you are running windows xp (there is a bug in win 98 and maybe 2000 with that much memory that may require a patch). Many people copy with much lesser systems. The problem is most liklly macrovision ripguard (or maybe sony arcoss) protection. Nero has had this problem in the past too (running out of memory) due to the copy protection. The latest version of anydvd is suposed to fix it. Hit ctrl, alt, del to bring up windows task manager, then click the performance tab to see your physical memory usage. Leave this window up when trying to copy a problem movie and se if you are actually running out of physical memory. If you are, then try updating dvd fab platnum express and if that doesn't work, try the free trial of anydvd and clone dvd (or nero if you have it). If it works then I'm guessing dvd fab probably hasnt got a fix for this copy protection problem yet.
