Help with media purchase in SO Cal

I have read the FAQ and also went thru all the pages in Firmware 1.U6 (beta6) thread.
I looked at the supported list of media on that thread and I am wondering where to get any of these from a local retailer like Staples, Best Buy, CompUSA if possible.

I also read this page http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm and it’s recommendations for media and cannot find it on any of the retailer’s websites mentioned above, and does this page have the right reccomendations?

As you might have guessed I am new to all this and have just purchased the ND3520A which will arrive in a few days, I plan on keeping it stock at first but would like to make backup copies of my DVD with good media. I live in SO Cal and if anyone could direct me in the right location here I would greatly apreciate it.

Thanks!

Best Buy has Fuji branded Taiyo Yuden T02 media (Made in Japan). Look for the Fuji DVD+R 8x 50-pk. It was on sale last week for 19.99. I got a TDK 50-pk of RICHOHJPNR02 media there a few weeks back, but lately the same TDK 50-pks are CMC MAG.

My local BB has just stocked up on 100-ct spindles of Fuji TY, so look for a sale on them in the near future too. But in a given week either the 25 or 50 or 100 Fuji is usually on sale. There’s certainly no reason to get anything else, even at full price it’s a good value. In southeren CA, getting your media from either Rima or ACCA is also easy. It’s top-quality and will be delivered in 1-2 days.

But if you’re in the store, look for anything that’s made in Japan and you’ll be very pleased with the results.
