Help with DVR-112D/1.21 not burning ISOs

Ok, so I can burn files onto a cd and/or a dvd but can’t burn images of any format… That doesn’t help me much when I update a cd image every week for burning… I’m wondering (hoping not) if my drive is going out, although it is less than 6 months old… I’m thinking Windows driver issue, but not sure. Below is the log from my latest Nero 6.6.0.18 attempt.

OH, and imgburn doesn’t work, magiciso doesn’t work, nothing works for images… HELP PLEEEEEEEASE!!!

Oh, one more thing, the image I’m trying to burn is about 109MB big and I’ve burned (burnt?) it many times before. Also, I’ve burned dvds with 1G-sized files, so… ???

Wrong, this is an connection problemm.

Fix that or it cannot work.

connection how so… I’ve changed cables and IDE channels…

How exactly is it connected, to which controller (brand/model)?

And this is also suspicious:

19:22 #4 Text 0 File Burncd.cpp, Line 3233
Turn on UltraRaw 96-Mode, using CD-R/RW media

personally I thought all those .cpp files were weird, but then again, I don’t know what’s going on at the command level of the drive so… =)

My MB is an Asus P4P800 - no second edition or deluxe

trying to burn from primary master to secondary slave. There IS a slave on the primary controller, but no master on the secondary. There’s an Intel RAID controller with two raptors in RAID-0 hosting another install of windows, from which I cannot burn either…

so… to answer your question:

South bridge Intel® Intel 82801ER Enhanced I/O Controller Hub (ICH5), secondary controller, slave (yes, JUMPERED as slave but on the end connector), 80-pin Asus cable. If any more info is needed please let me know. =)

Oh - what is weird about that line#4???

If you only have one drive connected to secondary and on the end of the cable jumper it as Master. Slave is only used when cennecting two drives and ten the slave is on the middle connector.
