Welcome to the forum

Since Nero doesn’t seem to be reporting the DMA status of your drive (unless I’ve missed it) - can you click the link in my signature and check UDMA mode is enabled?

Failing that, try burning something with ImgBurn and see if that errors out as well (it’s free software).

I forgot to mention that i can burn cds directly in windows vista with native support…

I’ll try what you mentioned… but in device manager ata support is enabled…

thanks for the help

Hmmm. Sounds like a possible software problem in that case.

ImgBurn is definitely worth a try. And if you need to burn audio (from music files), then Burrrn (another free software) is what I use.

I tried imgburn ant it burned OK CDs…

There is something that can reset the nero configs?

Can you explain me what kinds of filesystem would i use? UDF, Joliet…?? Can bem this the problem…

Thanks again…
