I used to get these errors a fair bit when i was using Verbatim media…I changed media and they stopped…which lead me to believe that it was just my writer (an Acer 1208A) being picky over media.

I’ve since read a few threads on different forums about this error and its not just an Acer problem…but most ppl seem to recommend changing media to a “quality” brand and maybe slowing the write speed down as well.

I use Princo brand now, which are still cheap crap, but the Acer seems to tolerate them…

What’s the name of your writer ? MATSHITA ? Doesn’t sound to good… Hehe LOL I just had to say that  I agree with Da-Smasha.

OUUUUUUUUUUCH. I’ll have you know that the Matshitter 330 is the most powerful laptop CD -W known to mankind. I know cuz. that’s what the guy at Dell said 2 seconds before he charged my card $3100, two months ago…

The name ADDS to the Mystique.

Seriously, If I select the specific burn speed in CloneCD as opposed to the default (fastest), it works fine. I had the problem with imation disks…I usually use the cheapest ones, and never had a problem.

Thanks for your replies.
