I had to reinstall Nero.
It lets me burn CDs but when I try to burn DVDs it crashes right after the caching state.

Please help. :frowning:

First I would suggest enabling yourDMA for all your HDD and ODD, unless it already is and can’t be seen because of the VIA chipset/drivers. Then I would suggest updating your nero to the latest version.
If that doesn’t fix things, try using the nero Registry Checker and DriverClean Tool to disable any drivers that may be conflicting.
If that fails, try uninstalling the VIA IDE drivers and install the microsoft IDE drivers.
If that fails, post a nero infotool output. Make sure all 8 boxes are checked and post the .txt file using the ‘manage attachments’ button in the ‘go advanced’ reply window.

If anything works, let us know what did so it may help others in the future.
