The image above shows an error I am getting when I try to burn a DVD-9 DL using ConvertXDVD.

I went out and got myself 6 brand spanking newVerbatim DVD-9 DL discs @ $5.25 +tax a disc from a local computer shop. Expensive for media backup

I have already got two coasters out of six :a :a :a :a

If I am to complete my project I need atleast 4 of them to burn correctly.

Here is my burn settings inside ConvertXDVD

Local shop sells discs individually, not as shown in a pack

Please tell me what I need to do

If I am using the wrong Codeguy patched firmware for this drive please tell me which one is best for making good DVD-9 DL burns and what settings I need to adjust to make good burns.

Thanks

According to the log you have bought DVD+R DL media, not DVD-R DL.

I suggest to creat an image/ISO on the hdd, then burning this image using Imgburn.

No burners like to have DMA disabled as your log shows.

Try this link to see if it can be fixed.
