i have a bunch of princo/bulkpaq 1x dvd-r left which i dont get to burned in my new 1620 pro, but they work in my old pioneer dvr-104. i would like to benefit from wopc-feature with these cheap media. i allready tried updating firmware to B79U, even with going back to B79L before, but no go.

error message in nero is:
“ungültige disk” (invalid disc)
“starten von disc at once fehlgeschlagen” (starting disc at once failed)

error message in dvddecrypter:
I/O Error!

MCSE didnt help, i tied to replace the included settings for princo (4x) by ritek (2x-8x), no go. maybe i did somwthing wrong?

The 1620 does not support writing 1x media you’ll probably have to play around a bit more with MCSE to see if anything works.

Check out this thread which has the media code table for B7T9 it may be worth a try having a look at the DVD-R table and look for 2x/4x DVD-R media codes that you could try.
