[Help]LDW-811S Problem with CD media. Firmware update?

Hello.
I have Liteon LDW-811S with the original firmware - HS06.
I have used Verbatim CDs for a long time.
Last weekend I wanted to burn a Verbatim DataLifePlus 48x CD-R 700MB Crystal SuperAzo (I bought 100  ) and could not.
All it produced was coasters.
I tried to record on a friends burner and all was ok. Even my Liteon could read it.
Should I think it is a firmware update?
Before posting, I read all the information I could find in this forum about firmware.
And I find so much firmware that I don’t know which one should I use:
-Liteon original and last DR8HSOR dated 03 September 04?
-Codeguys HS0K/HS0P/HS0Q/HS0R patched?
-From The Firmware Page?
-From dhc014.rpc1.org?
Which one?
Here is the info provided by Smart-Burn about the ones I can’t burn:

Drive Type = DVD DUAL
Disc Type = CDR
Material = Cyanine
Lead In = 97:34:23
Lead Out = 79:59:73
Nominal Capacity = 702.83MB
Manufacturer Maybe = Mitsubishi Chemicals Corporation
SMART-BURN Speed Limit = 40X (Write)

Here is the info about the ones have burned:

Drive Type = DVD DUAL
Disc Type = CDR
Material = Cyanine
Lead In = 97:34:22
Lead Out = 79:59:74
Nominal Capacity = 702.83MB
Manufacturer Maybe = Mitsubishi Chemicals Corporation
SMART-BURN Speed Limit = 32X (Write)

Thank you for your time.

try a firmware update: http://s26.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=39GVR0CWMO30B1LU7APSGU6QLX

Thank you.
Can you please tell me which firmware is it, I mean, I know it is HS0R, but is it the official or another one?

it’s an omni-patched one. should be better than stock.

Finally I had the time to apply the firmware.
And it worked  .
Thank you.
But now I can only record CDs at 40x.
If they accept that velocity, should I expect no problems, right?

811s cannot burn cds @ speeds over 40x. there should be no problems with high speeds.
