Help identifying Taiyo Yuden media

Hi, I’m new to this forum and I would like some help on identifying my Taiyo Yuden media. I have read that there are many fakes out there and I would like to know if mine are real or phony. Here are my specs. from DVD Identifier v4.0.1:

Suggest you read the sticky thread on Fake TY.

Where did you get them from? AFAIK, those are fake. TY -Rs should have “GG” somewhere in the printed inner hub serial.
Try RIMA.com or the Fuji -R 30pks at Staples (make sure they are Made in Japan - very important) for your TYG02 needs. I can personally vouch for both sources.

I bought these from Meritline.com. I called them and they told me they were authentic but I doubt it. Also I wasn’t sent the ones I extactly ordered and the cake box looks different from other pics of Taiyo Yuden online. Not sure if they were made in Japan.

burn some discs and see the scan results.

It can all be told from the serial number. If all you’ve got is the “A5” number and nothing with a GG, it’s a fake.
