This could be the problem, what media CD-R are you using?

imation

I’ve had problems with Imation CD-Rs, just in the sense of I wasnt able to backup S/D 3.20.022 on them, I’m guessing your CD-RW’s are Imation too? Maybe try another CD-R Media.

the CD-RW’s are Memorex

I have the exact problem as you have with the same read out, i have tried using 4 different makes of CD-R media so if you do come across a fix please let me know.

I ma having the same exact problem as well…I cant burn at 32X on the exact cd’s I use to be able to burn all the time. I can still burn at 4X. havent tired burning at 16x. Think these drives need to be repaired…
