HELP! How do I reset?

I only have one CD in my house and it’s a DigitalMedia Compact disc. It says it’s rewritable but when I try to put new things on and it says it’s read only. Is their a tool to reset the disk so I can put something new on it?

A CD-R disc must be [I]originally[/I] started as a ‘multi-session’ disc to be able and add to it later on-

If it’s rewrittable, try erase first if it’s full.
